What you will do

• Deliver technical solutions for clients using the Data Management platform, combining data engineering and reporting.
• Investigate data issues and build technical enhancements across various client environments.
• Manage the full delivery lifecycle from understanding requirements and design to build, testing, and deployment.
• Execute hands-on technical work focused on SQL and ETL processes.
• Take ownership of reporting tasks and progress into broader data engineering responsibilities.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SQL, including writing queries and working with data structures.
• Experience working with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a technical role within data, BI, or a similar area.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and translate requirements into technical outputs.
• Location: Must be based in Cape Town to support the hybrid working model.

Nice to have

• Experience with SSRS or similar reporting tools.
• Exposure to C# or working with code within ETL processes.
• Background in financial services or a data-heavy industry.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
