What you will do

• Execute end-to-end database operations including backup, recovery, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Drive performance optimization through SQL tuning, index optimization, and workload analysis.
• Implement database security controls, including access management, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain and validate disaster recovery solutions, including failover drills and RPO/RTO planning.
• Deliver database migration, scaling, and sharding solutions for business-critical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of database management experience.
• 2+ years of cloud platform experience (Alibaba Cloud or AWS).
• Proficiency in relational, NoSQL, and distributed database architectures.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills with proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
• Must have a current right to work in Singapore.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Perl or PHP.
