Middle QA Engineer (Python)

hirify.global is developing Playfood, a SaaS food delivery platform that powers the entire business cycle for its partners.

What you will do

• Perform manual functional and regression testing across B2C/B2B web and mobile applications.
• Write and maintain automated tests in Python (Selenium) and contribute to the migration to Playwright.
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and checklists, and track bug reports through to resolution.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies including grooming and planning.
• Analyze application logs and monitoring dashboards to investigate issues and system behavior.
• Utilize AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, and Codex for test generation and routine automation.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional QA experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing principles.
• Proficiency in API testing (REST) using Postman or similar tools.
• Basic experience in test automation with Python and Selenium.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation and Git/Jira for version control and bug tracking.
• English: B1+ level required

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Basic knowledge of Docker.
