What you will do

  • Define and elevate end-to-end workflows across Character Art, Animation, Environment Art, Audio, and VFX.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Technical Art partners to evaluate and implement scalable production tools.
  • Provide hands-on technical support to artists and gather feedback to drive continuous pipeline improvements.
  • Maintain and support artist-facing tools to ensure efficient parallel production streams.
  • Mentor fellow Technical Artists and foster a culture of knowledge sharing through documentation.
  • Translate complex artistic requirements into sustainable technical system designs.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience as a technical artist in games or related industries.
  • Professional experience in content creation and tool development for Autodesk Maya and Substance Suite.
  • Professional experience working in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Highly proficient in Python tool development, including PySide and PyQt.
  • Strong understanding of art workflows and ability to translate artistic needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to act as an ambassador between art and engineering teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with C++ and UMG for Unreal Engine 5.
  • Experience with Houdini, Blender, ZBrush, 3DS Max, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization for modern hardware.
  • Experience working on large-scale AAA games.
  • Curiosity regarding AI-assisted workflows for content production.
