What you will do
- Lead one of the core backend platforms within the Incentive Platform Department.
- Define platform strategy, roadmaps, operating plans, and product enhancements.
- Ensure platform stability, quality, operational performance, and timely project delivery.
- Manage multicultural engineering organizations and support career development, coaching, and leadership growth.
- Partner with stakeholders across e-commerce, travel, fintech, and mobile businesses.
- Manage budgets and ensure investments support strategic and operational goals.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience leading multicultural teams of 20 or more members.
- Extensive experience building and operating high-traffic, business-critical platforms.
- Strong ownership and accountability, especially during production incidents.
- Experience communicating across all organizational levels, including executive management.
- Strong understanding of both business and technology for effective stakeholder decisions.
- Fluent English and fluent Japanese required.
