Product Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully remote for EU-based candidates

What you will do

• Implement and improve security solutions that support a secure software development lifecycle.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, security scanning, security observability, and detection engineering.
• Perform technical design reviews and structured threat modeling to identify and mitigate risks.
• Automate manual security work and maintain technical security documentation.
• Advise and educate technology and product teams on security best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into services and products from the start.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–4 years of experience in a role with security exposure.
• Strong understanding of web, mobile, and cloud security, security protocols, basic cryptography, and network security.
• Familiarity with secure software development and basic vulnerability management, security observability, and incident response.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or shell scripting, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; candidates must be based in the EU.

Hiring process

• Approximately 45-minute screening with the People Team.
• 60-minute technical screening and 60-minute coding problem-solving session.
• 60-minute system design and threat-modeling interview.
