Location: Hybrid in Guatemala City, Guatemala (teams in the office an average of four days a week)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy scalable websites and web applications.
• Develop both front-end and back-end systems using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and timelines.
• Enforce coding standards and best practices through code reviews.
• Optimize applications for performance, ensuring fast loading times and efficient resource utilization.
• Ensure accessibility compliance adhering to WCAG and ADA standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in fullstack development.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, semantic HTML, and CSS (SASS/LESS).
• Strong experience with React.js or Vue.js, including state management and component-based architecture.
• Backend proficiency in Java (preferred), PHP, or Node.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools including CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Must be based in Guatemala City for hybrid work (4 days/week in office)
• English proficiency (written and spoken) required

Nice to have

• Experience with CMS like WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or Bloomreach.
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite, Parcel) and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and Kubernetes.
• Experience in client-facing or consultative roles.
• Experience with headless CMS and accessibility testing tools.
