Location: Must be based in San Francisco and able to work on-site 3 days per week.

Salary: $290,000 – $310,000

What you will do

• Own design direction and quality across a portfolio of product verticals including growth and platform integrity.
• Stay actively involved in the work by providing precise craft feedback and setting high standards through personal judgment.
• Manage and develop a team of 5 Product Designers, focusing on career growth and coaching.
• Partner with PM and Engineering leadership to shape product strategy and ensure design is a key input in decision-making.
• Lead design reviews and establish a strong feedback culture within the team.
• Represent the design perspective to senior leadership and contribute to the broader design system.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco.
• Director-level experience in Product Design with a track record of managing teams and owning design direction.
• Hands-on maker ability to provide substantive craft feedback and engage in detail-level design decisions.
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience designing consumer products at scale.
• Ability to articulate a clear design vision and bring others along with your thinking.
