What you will do

• Lead financial governance and ensure compliance across financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure the organization is audit-ready.
• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations: AP/AR, treasury, banking, general ledger, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Partner with the local Group FD and senior leadership to inform business decisions and resolve financial issues.
• Champion innovation through reporting automation and the implementation of AI tools in accounting.

Requirements

• Must be based in Greece.
• 8+ years of professional experience managing accounting departments, ideally in a Big 4 firm or as an Accounting Manager.
• A' class signature rights.
• Higher education in Accounting or Finance; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Greek and international accounting principles, VAT, and corporate tax law.
• Excellent working proficiency in both Greek and English.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Experience with StepUp accounting software.
