Salary: $85,389 - $116,975

What you will do

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard for healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and/or NodeJS to retrieve and serve EDI healthcare records.
• Develop and maintain Angular-based front-end components to surface data accurately to clinical users.
• Collaborate with C#/.Net and AWS data engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery.
• Perform unit and integration testing across back-end services and API layers.
• Manage deployment, monitoring, and performance of AWS-hosted services within an Agile framework.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required; must qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS.
• 8+ years of experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and cloud services (AWS API Gateway, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with Electronic Data Interchange X.12 (EDI) Medical Claims (837, 834, 277, etc).
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG 2.1).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).
• Familiarity with C#/.Net back-end services.
