Lecturer In Computing (VR)

Location: Must be flexible to travel to all campus locations in London (Holborn, Fitzrovia, Southall, Wembley, Kingsbury, and Harrow)

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

What you will do

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials across relevant computing modules.
• Take ownership of the VR Lab and embed immersive technologies into teaching activities.
• Design assessments, mark student work, and provide constructive feedback.
• Act as a Personal Academic Tutor to guide and support student progress.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and programme evaluations.
• Support staff and students in the effective use of VR resources.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant subject area.
• Experience teaching in higher education.
• Strong subject expertise in a relevant computing discipline.
• Practical knowledge of VR, AR, or immersive technologies.
• Must be flexible to travel to all campus locations.
• Strong digital capability including VLEs and MS Teams.

Nice to have

• PhD or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience with VR development tools or immersive learning design.
• Teaching qualification or HEA Fellowship.
• Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
