UI/UX Designer (Business Applications)

Location: Salzburg or Vienna, Austria; 100% hybrid work with the option to work from home or a hirify.global office.

Salary: EUR 50,000 gross annual starting salary for full-time employment in Austria.

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable enterprise design systems in Figma, including tokens, components, patterns, templates, and documentation.
• Translate complex ERP, CRM, and other business requirements into structured UX flows, interface architectures, and interaction models.
• Define data-heavy UI patterns for dashboards, forms, tables, and multi-step workflows.
• Collaborate with software architects and frontend developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with implementation.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes, interaction states, and production-ready UX specifications using Figma and platforms such as Storybook or Zeroheight.
• Audit enterprise interfaces against WCAG standards, usability heuristics, and design system requirements.

Requirements

• Experience designing business-critical and enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in scalable design systems, data-heavy interfaces, and complex interaction models.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and component-based frontend frameworks.
• Experience with Figma; familiarity with Storybook or Zeroheight for design system documentation.
• Fluent German and English communication skills required for client projects, workshops, stakeholder alignment, and feedback cycles.
