What you will do

• Plan and execute the synthesis of novel molecules for olfactory evaluation.
• Analyze chemical reactions and products using GC, MS, NMR, and chromatography.
• Isolate and purify intermediate and final products using various separation techniques.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Maintain accurate experimental records and manage laboratory supplies.
• Ensure compliance with HS&E procedures and contribute to laboratory safety improvements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid foundation in organic reaction mechanisms and catalytic methods.
• Experience in generating, analyzing, and documenting high-quality experimental data.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Collaborative mindset for working in cross-functional scientific teams.
• Proactive attitude toward exploring new tools and technologies.

Nice to have

• Specialization or hands-on experience in catalysis.
• Proficiency in French.
