QA Engineer (Mining): Ensuring the reliability and performance of the Cat MineStar mining technology platform with an accent on automated testing and end-to-end quality. Focus on designing automated test suites for UI/API, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and implementing shift-left quality practices.
Location: Onsite in Brisbane, Australia. Must have full Australian working rights.

What you will do
- Own end-to-end quality for user stories and provide sign-off with clear test evidence.
- Design, build, and maintain automated tests across UI, API, and backend services.
- Create and maintain test plans, automated test cases, and summary reporting.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and engineers to communicate quality risks and status.
- Promote shift-left quality practices through design discussions and code reviews.
Requirements
- Must be based in Brisbane and work onsite five days a week.
- Must have full Australian working rights (Visa Sponsorship is not available).
- 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in a software delivery environment.
- Strong experience testing REST APIs and handling RBAC scenarios.
- Proficiency in SDLC and Agile delivery, including shift-left testing.
- Ability to triage defects and troubleshoot failures to improve test stability.
Nice to have
- Experience with Playwright and Page Object Model.
- Experience with Cucumber/BDD frameworks.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience configuring GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Background in mining, industrial, or safety-critical systems.
