What you will do

  • Build trusted partnerships with Engineering leaders and managers to translate team challenges into practical people actions.
  • Manage French employee relations, including applying French employment law and overseeing CSE management.
  • Streamline HR processes, documentation, and ways of working to reduce unnecessary complexity for managers and employees.
  • Coach and enable managers on feedback, performance management, conflict resolution, and communication.
  • Spot emerging organizational trends and address underlying risks before they escalate.
  • Collaborate with the People Team on initiatives such as compensation reviews, organizational design, and employee lifecycle improvements.

Requirements

  • Solid HR Business Partner experience, ideally in a fast-moving technology, SaaS, or data-driven scale-up environment.
  • Practical expertise in French labor law and comfort navigating compliance and employee relations.
  • Bilingual communication in French and English to manage sensitive local conversations and align with global teams.
  • Ability to work hands-on with the business and solve concrete people problems with discretion and consistency.
  • Structured, clear, and pragmatic approach to balancing strategic conversations with operational follow-up.
  • Expected to be in the office in Paris at least 3 days per week due to the highly collaborative nature of the role.

Hiring process

  • Interviews with Head of TA, Head of HRBP and People Ops, and Head of Organizational Development and Learning.
  • Additional interview with an Engineering/Technology stakeholder/partner.
  • Final interview with the Chief People Officer.
