Vice President (Regulatory Policy)

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze proposed US and international regulatory capital rules and legislation.
• Communicate regulatory impacts to senior management, business desks, and risk departments.
• Assess capital implications for new products, transactions, and business initiatives.
• Provide expertise on regulatory capital rule interpretation and internal capital attribution.
• Prepare capital and stress testing materials for the Board of Directors.
• Engage in supervisory processes and respond to regulator inquiries.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of related experience required
• Strong subject matter expertise in the definition of capital and capital planning rules.
• Prior experience interpreting regulatory guidance and drafting policy responses.
• Ability to research technical regulatory papers, ideally utilizing AI tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage complex, evolving priorities.
• Governance and control-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a policy function at the Federal Reserve or similar regulatory authority.
• Experience drafting advocacy in response to proposed regulatory rulemakings.
