What you will do

• Design and maintain SQL Server 2019+ schemas, indexes, and query patterns for high-concurrency environments.
• Analyze execution plans and tune database performance, including isolation levels and bottleneck identification.
• Implement and review data access layers using linq2db, Entity Framework, and ADO.NET.
• Operate and configure Azure data services, including Azure SQL, storage, and networking.
• Contribute to database CI/CD pipelines, schema versioning, and automated deployment strategies.
• Mentor team members on database design, query optimization, and modern engineering practices.

Requirements

• Must be proficient in written and spoken English (C1 level equivalent).
• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in data or backend engineering with a strong database focus.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL Server 2019+ and database performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency in C# data access patterns and Python for automation.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services and production workload deployment.
• Must be based in the LATAM region.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or Synapse.
• Background in event-driven or streaming data architectures.
