What you will do

• Design and build on-device mobile location infrastructure for collection, filtering, and transmission.
• Solve complex platform challenges including background execution, battery optimization, and OS-level location API management.
• Orchestrate agentic workflows using AI tools to generate code, tests, and documentation.
• Define and codify AI-native engineering practices and playbooks for the broader organization.
• Collaborate across the full stack (iOS, Android, Cloud) to deliver scalable, performant solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building consumer-scale mobile applications.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs.
• Strong proficiency in iOS or Android development.
• Deep understanding of mobile platform constraints (battery, background execution, location APIs).
• Ability to reason about high-throughput backend systems and their interaction with mobile clients.
• Must be based in the São Paulo, Brazil metro area and able to work in a hybrid capacity.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPS or location technology.
• Experience with both mobile and cloud backend development.
