What you will do

• Lead and manage overall engineering and design delivery across all relevant disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary design teams and consultants.
• Manage complex interfaces between civil, structural, track, systems, and architectural components.
• Oversee design reviews, technical submissions, and value engineering initiatives.
• Ensure design compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with construction, procurement, and stakeholder teams to align design intent with delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical).
• Extensive experience in engineering and design management on major railway and freight infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in complex rail environments.
• Strong understanding of design assurance, technical governance, and authority approval processes.
• Experience with conventional railway engineering standards and freight operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Prior experience working on projects in the Gulf region.
