What you will do

• Lead the design and execution of performance animation for story sequences and interactive cinematics.
• Oversee facial performances and dialogue scenes to ensure emotional authenticity and cinematic quality.
• Collaborate with Art, Design, and Engineering teams to establish and maintain production pipelines.
• Define production guidelines and animation standards for scalable and efficient content creation.
• Optimize motion capture and keyframe animation pipelines to solve technical challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Film, Directing, Digital Media Arts, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience as an Animation Director, Action Director, or Performance Animator in film or games.
• Portfolio demonstrating both action-oriented and subtle dramatic performances.
• Proficiency in motion capture data processing, keyframe animation, and in-engine integration.
• Deep understanding of cinematic language, character acting, and emotional storytelling.
• Must be based in Canada, United Kingdom, or United States.

• Prior experience in film production studios or cinematic teams.
