TL;DR

Content Author Lead (AEM/CMS): Designing templates and components and leading the technical execution of content authoring with an accent on technical leadership and client relationship management. Focus on debugging complex platform issues, implementing SEO best practices, and mentoring the authoring team.

Location: Must be based in San Jose, Costa Rica (Hybrid: minimum 3 days a week in office)

What you will do

  • Design templates and components in AEM, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Lead technical communication and act as the primary point of contact for clients, developers, and project managers.
  • Mentor the authoring team and enforce best practices through peer reviews and unit testing.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex platform issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Gather business requirements and map them to appropriate technical authoring solutions.
  • Manage content release activities, including code reviews, client demos, and QA hand-offs.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience working with AEM and proven leadership experience guiding teams.
  • Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and CSS pre-processors like SASS/LESS.
  • Experience implementing SEO guidelines and best practices for CMS pages.
  • Knowledge of data transfer formats and protocols (JSON, XML, HTTP).
  • English: Advanced proficiency (B2+) required.
  • Location: Must be based in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Nice to have

  • BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience working in digital agencies or within SCRUM/Agile environments.
  • SCRUM Fundamentals or Six Sigma certifications.
