Security (ICT) Consultant (Cloud)

Security (ICT) Consultant (Cloud): Developing and securing the Open Telekom Cloud platform with an accent on Linux security, network infrastructure, and DevSecOps principles. Location: Must be based in Slovakia (Hybrid work model in Košice).

Salary: From €1,900/month gross (negotiable based on experience).

What you will do

• Solve complex operational challenges within a hyper-scale cloud backend.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and quality assurance systems.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using industry-standard frameworks.
• Work hands-on with network configurations, firewalls, and security protocols.
• Collaborate within an agile team to maintain a secure and stable cloud platform.

Requirements

• Must be based in Slovakia due to taxation regulations.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in IT and Linux OS security.
• Strong knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and WAF.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure automation and Linux-related services.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Technical degree or equivalent professional training.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenStack.
• Programming experience in open-source projects.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
