What you will do
- Develop the next generation of ultra-fast and ultra-sensitive imaging systems within the SPRINT project.
- Create an ultrafast single-photon camera utilizing SNSPD arrays.
- Conduct research at the intersection of nanotechnology, photonics, and RF engineering.
- Contribute to applications in biomedical imaging, quantum technologies, and LiDAR.
- Collaborate within an international community of professionals and students.
Requirements
- PhD in Physics or a related field.
- Strong experimental experience in quantum, optical, or nanoscale systems.
- Must be able to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Background in superconducting devices, cryogenics, RF/microwave engineering, and photonics (desirable).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detectors (SNSPDs).
