What you will do

• Design, code, debug, and validate applications across the entire software development life cycle.
• Develop moderately complex fullstack code using various programming languages and platforms to serve internal and external clients.
• Create detailed program specifications, application documentation, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and vendor teams to determine optimal solution approaches.
• Ensure compliance with infrastructure standards and Payment Card Industry (PCI) security requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to other software engineers.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/MIS or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in coding, designing, and analyzing data.
• Advanced knowledge of two or more opposing front-end and back-end languages/technologies.
• Experience working with various APIs, external services, and both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL, Amazon Linux) or Microsoft Windows.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience with IBM Rational Tools.
• Familiarity with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, Assembler, or z/OS.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning tools including Python, R, or Tensorflow.
