What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering teams and manage Engineering Managers and technical leaders.
• Drive strategic cross-team initiatives and define the technical roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Partner with senior leadership, including Directors, VPs, and C-level stakeholders.
• Scale high-performing teams through hiring and mentoring future engineering leaders.
• Oversee the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable systems for high-volume financial transactions.
• Strengthen engineering culture through data-driven decisions and a focus on quality and ownership.

Requirements

• At least 10+ years of experience in software engineering and 5+ years managing engineering teams.
• Experience managing large organizations (25+ people) and managing other Engineering Managers.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: React, Javascript, Kotlin, Scala, Java, or C#.
• Deep knowledge of microservices, clean architecture, and system scaling.
• B.S. in Computer Science or a quantitative field.
• Must be based in or relocate to Bangkok, Thailand.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Fintech or Financial Systems.
• Experience in data engineering and working with Big Data in a data-driven company.
• Background in global internet companies serving world markets with high transactions per second.
• Experience with distributed data centers.
