What you will do

• Manage security risk assessments and planning to safeguard personnel and assets.
• Provide operational security services and technical advice to enable programme delivery.
• Build and maintain professional security networks and strategic partnerships.
• Support innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building in security.
• Ensure the safety of personnel and their eligible family members at the duty station.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Security Risk Management, International Relations, Operations, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in security operations, crisis management, or threat assessment.
• Demonstrated skills in risk management, security analysis, and conflict analysis.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
• Must possess valid work authorization for the State of Palestine (visa and working authorization will not be facilitated for this role).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of other official UN languages (Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish).
• Experience with the United Nations Security Management System (UNSMS).
• Experience working in fragile settings, development, or humanitarian contexts.
