Environment Artist (Realistic Art Style/Gamedev): Creating high-quality props and environments for an unannounced realistic title with an accent on visual storytelling and technical optimization for current-gen platforms. Focus on building original assets, designing entire levels in collaboration with level designers, and ensuring game-ready geometry.

Location: On-site in Oxford, Warwick, or Runcorn. Must have permanent right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship provided.

What you will do

• Plan and create realistic environments and props with a focus on narrative and visual storytelling.
• Collaborate with level designers to build functional, shareable assets within technical constraints.
• Ensure technical and artistic quality by working with senior and technical artists.
• Implement feedback from producers and project leads into the artwork.
• Manage day-to-day tasks using tracking tools and document space planning intentions.

Requirements

• Professional game development experience, including scene profiling and optimization for current-gen platforms.
• Proficiency in 3D software (Blender preferred) and Substance Painter.
• Expertise in PBR material workflow and high-to-low baking.
• Ability to create clean, game-ready geometry with accurate texel density.
• Strong eye for composition, scale, and lighting.
• Permanent right to work in the UK is required.
