Location: Quito, Ecuador. Must be able to work onsite at hirify.global or client offices for up to five days a week.

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical contact for clients, negotiating technical visions and ensuring successful delivery.
• Champion and implement best practices, including TDD, pair programming, and clean, reusable code.
• Oversee the entire software consulting cycle from initial ideation to production evolution.
• Design pragmatic solutions and select technologies based on the hirify.global Technology Radar.
• Utilize DevSecOps tools and practices to build and deploy software while shifting security left.
• Mentor and coach developers to foster an inclusive and supportive team culture.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java and the latest Object-Oriented technology.
• Hands-on experience with Claude or equivalent AI tools.
• Experience with Gradle, GitHub Actions, and Datadog.
• Proven track record of leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, or Continuous delivery.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• English: Advanced level (C1) required.
