Location: Hybrid eligible; must be based in Belen, Heredia, Costa Rica and available to work on-site all week if required.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructures using EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, Route 53, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, and MSK.
• Build and operate production-ready container and streaming platforms including EKS, ECS, and Kafka to ensure stability and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild for automated deployments.
• Implement enterprise-grade Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, applying cloud security best practices and compliance controls.
• Leverage AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude.ai) to automate workflows and optimize cloud cost and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience or High School diploma with 10+ years of experience in AWS-focused roles.
• English: C2 level required.
• Practical expertise with EKS, ECS, and MSK infrastructure.
• Proficiency in implementing CI/CD tools and DevOps best practices.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including troubleshooting, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Costa Rica without sponsorship.
