Education Project Manager (Humanitarian)

Location: Must be based in Juba, South Sudan. This is a national contract; candidates must have the legal right to work in South Sudan as no visa sponsorship is provided.

What you will do

• Coordinate and manage education project implementation, including activities, budget, and documentation.
• Provide technical direction to the Education Response program team to ensure results are achieved within scope and budget.
• Build strong partnerships and liaise with local authorities, consortium members, and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee staff capacity building, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Design and manage systems for tracking project results in coordination with the MEAL Manager.
• Represent the project in emergency coordination meetings, education clusters, and donor engagement forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent; advanced degree in Social Sciences preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in insecure, complex, and volatile environments.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of INEE minimum standards and humanitarian principles.
• Proven experience in managing large projects and multi-year program budgets.
• Must have the legal right to work in South Sudan; no visa or work permit sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Juba Arabic.
• Experience in youth, adolescence, peacebuilding, or disability inclusion programming.
