TL;DR

Senior Data Scientist (AdTech): Developing and optimizing large-scale predictive AI models for ad delivery with an accent on CTR prediction, online learning, and high-dimensional embeddings. Focus on bridging research and engineering by deploying ML algorithms into high-throughput production environments and conducting end-to-end model lifecycle management.

Location: Must be based in Paris, France (Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office)

What you will do

  • Innovate at scale by researching and implementing advanced ML techniques for CTR prediction and online learning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into production-ready features.
  • Lead the end-to-end model lifecycle, from paper analysis to A/B testing and live performance monitoring.
  • Dedicate time to deep-work sessions to test unconventional hypotheses and new algorithmic approaches.
  • Ensure models integrate seamlessly into the existing software stack.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in a quantitative field or equivalent industry experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in applied research, specifically deploying ML algorithms into high-throughput online environments.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to understand how models fit into the code stack.
  • Ability to critique scientific methodology and implement core findings effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex systems to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be based in Paris or able to work in a hybrid model (3 days/week in office).
