Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden (Office attendance required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays)

What you will do

• Identify performance bottlenecks, profile game content, and implement critical optimizations for memory and performance.
• Drive shader development, migration, and improvement in close collaboration with rendering programmers.
• Maintain and improve artist tooling and pipelines to streamline creative workflows.
• Translate high-level milestone goals into actionable technical art tasks autonomously.
• Master internal engine and proprietary technology to enhance visual possibilities.
• Collaborate across disciplines to provide and receive constructive feedback.

Requirements

• 8 to 10+ years of experience as a Technical Artist.
• Expert proficiency in Maya and deep understanding of modern game-engine pipelines and rendering principles.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and ability to navigate C++ codebases.
• Proficiency in HLSL (or similar shading languages) and passion for shader development.
• Expertise in debugging, profiling, and optimizing complex game assets for performance.
• Must be based in Stockholm or able to work from the office on a hybrid schedule (Mon, Tue, Thu).
