TL;DR
Knowledgebase Technical Writer (Cybersecurity) (Technical Documentation/Knowledge Management): Creating, editing, and reviewing English support knowledgebase content for ESET products with an accent on technical accuracy, information architecture, and customer self-service. Focus on testing software across operating systems and virtual environments, maintaining content quality and discoverability, and providing knowledge for an AI support chatbot.
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia
Salary: From €2,000 gross per month, plus a performance bonus of up to 10% of the basic salary paid twice per year.

What you will do
- Create, edit, and review English content for the support knowledgebase and related internal and external materials.
- Ensure content follows the style guide and Knowledgebase standards, including quality management and workload coordination.
- Develop content that serves as a source of knowledge for the AI support chatbot.
- Test and recommend improvements to internal systems, tools, processes, and online self-service support.
- Collaborate with headquarters, global partners, development, and product management teams to report bugs, issues, and user experience findings.
- Organize and classify content, improve information architecture, and mentor less experienced colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, English, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Expert-level English grammar and stylistic skills; English at C1 level and Slovak at B2 level are required.
- Experience in editing, proofreading, research, technical interviewing, content authoring, and knowledge management.
- Intermediate HTML proficiency and experience with CMS/KMS, help authoring tools, content versioning systems such as SVN, and RDP.
- Technical proficiency with Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, and iOS, including virtual environments for software testing; proficiency with image editing, screen capture, and recording software.
Nice to have
- Knowledge and interest in cybersecurity.
- certification or an accredited technical or related professional or academic certification.
- Knowledge of customer success principles such as KCS, topic-based authoring, information design, content analytics, and related methodologies.
