TL;DR

Senior Manager – Regulatory Delivery (Fintech): Delivering responses to key Standards under the Deposit Takers Act (DTA) with an accent on operational resilience and regulatory compliance. Focus on translating complex regulatory requirements into sustainable business solutions and overseeing enterprise-wide transformation.

Location: On site in Wellington, New Zealand. Must have valid New Zealand work rights.

What you will do

  • Interpret DTA regulatory requirements and translate them into clear, actionable business practices.
  • Provide pragmatic advice on regulatory expectations and impacts, supporting gap analysis and risk assessments.
  • Support the design and delivery of regulatory change initiatives, including roadmaps and implementation planning.
  • Uplift frameworks, policies, processes, and controls, and support transition into BAU.
  • Build trusted relationships across risk, compliance, legal, operations, and technology functions.
  • Ensure high-quality documentation and support audits and regulatory engagement.

Requirements

  • Valid New Zealand work rights.
  • 7+ years of experience in regulatory change, risk, compliance, or policy roles.
  • Proven experience delivering complex regulatory change programmes within large organisations.
  • Expertise in one or more areas: outsourcing, operational resilience, crisis management, resolution planning, or depositor protection schemes.
  • Tertiary qualification in finance, law, accounting, policy, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence senior leadership.
