What you will do

• Perform security reviews and audits of cryptographic and ZK systems, including primitives, protocols, and zkDSL circuits.
• Analyze ZK programs for correctness, soundness, completeness, and potential privacy leakage.
• Review production code in Ethereum and Aztec ecosystems to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Design and implement new internal blockchain security tools for cryptography and ZK systems.
• Collaborate with researchers and clients to improve the security posture of decentralized protocols.
• Stay up to date with emerging ZK constructions, proof systems, and attack vectors.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience performing security reviews related to cryptography or zero-knowledge systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Rust.
• Hands-on experience with at least one ZK proof system (e.g., Groth16, PLONK, Halo2) and one zkDSL (e.g., Circom, Noir, Cairo).
• Deep understanding of zkVM architectures and proof pipelines.
• Ability to identify common cryptographic and ZK vulnerabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience in traditional cybersecurity before transitioning to blockchain.
• Knowledge of advanced primitives like Threshold signatures or Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE).
• Familiarity with ZK rollups or L2s (e.g., Aztec).
• Publicly available audit reports, blog posts, or presentations on ZK security.
