What you will do

• Provide out-of-hours operational coverage to ensure maximum trading uptime.
• Act as the first point of contact for production incidents and urgent system issues.
• Partner with trading and engineering teams to resolve issues quickly and reduce downtime.
• Monitor system performance, health, and alerts using modern observability tools.
• Implement SRE reliability best practices and continuously improve automation and tooling.

Requirements

• Strong Linux fundamentals, including system debugging, shell usage, and networking tools.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes fundamentals (pods, scheduling, debugging) and Helm.
• Ability to read and debug Python code in production environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Availability to work in a 24/7 support environment aligned to GMT-5 (approx. 11am – 7pm ET).
• Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and AWS (VPC, EC2).
• Experience querying ClickHouse for debugging or performance analysis.
• Understanding of Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Exposure to structured incident management frameworks.
