What you will do

• Develop and optimize core components of a SQL or analytical database engine.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with C/C++.
• Deep expertise in database core development, including storage engines, query planners, and transaction processing.
• Strong understanding of B-Trees, LSM trees, heap files, and row vs column layouts.
• Solid grasp of MVCC, locking, isolation levels, WAL, and crash recovery.
• Understanding of low-level performance factors: memory layout, disk I/O, and CPU cache behavior.
• English: B2 level required for interviews and participation in meetings.
