Location: Onsite in Abyan, Yemen (West Coast)

What you will do

  • Provide individual case management for vulnerable children in mobile centers and camps, ensuring accurate documentation of case files.
  • Identify children harmed or at risk of harm and develop tailored action plans for support.
  • Collaborate closely with health, nutrition, and women's protection teams to coordinate referrals.
  • Conduct regular protection monitoring activities to identify risks and vulnerable children.
  • Communicate with other case workers and community leaders to advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Contribute to weekly activity reports and participate in field-level case conferences.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or degree in social work, human rights, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience implementing child protection programs or case management in humanitarian settings.
  • Proven understanding of working with adolescents and particularly vulnerable children.
  • Proficiency in Arabic is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to handle pressure in cross-cultural settings.

  • Written and spoken English proficiency.
