TL;DR

SDET / QA Automation Engineer (Fintech/Web3): Building and scaling automated test suites for a crypto-to-gift card platform with an accent on E2E testing, AI-augmented workflows, and CI/CD integration. Focus on shrinking manual test cycles, eliminating flaky tests, and developing regression coverage for critical payment flows.

What you will do

  • Author and maintain E2E automated tests using Playwright and Maestro.
  • Develop regression, smoke, and sanity suites for critical flows including checkout and payments.
  • Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines for staging deployments.
  • Utilize internal MCP orchestration for API-driven test case management in Qase.
  • Identify and resolve flaky tests to improve stability and execution speed.
  • Collaborate with developers to translate new feature requirements into automated coverage.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience writing and maintaining E2E automated tests.
  • Strong coding background with proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern test frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium).
  • Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) for writing and debugging tests.
  • Knowledge of API testing (REST) and CI/CD pipeline concepts.
  • Experience with backend and infrastructure-oriented development.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Maestro, Spur, Qase, or TestRail.
  • Interest in Bitcoin/crypto or experience with fintech/payment products.
  • Experience testing e-commerce or marketplace platforms.
