Location: Hybrid (Nairobi, Kenya), including field visits nationwide

What you will do

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with strategic corporate clients to ensure long-term success.
  • Identify opportunities within accounts to increase transaction volume and expand product adoption.
  • Develop account plans focused on retention, upselling, and customer advocacy.
  • Proactively engage with inactive or at-risk clients to maintain loyalty and drive reactivation.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to ensure seamless client journeys and localized solutions.
  • Gather and share competitive intelligence and market insights to strengthen the company's regional position.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Sales in fintech, banking, or B2B SaaS.
  • Proven track record in managing senior-level client relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Fluent in French and professional proficiency in English.
  • Experience working in or with emerging markets.
  • Based in Nairobi with the flexibility to split time between office work and field visits.

Nice to have

  • Experience in early-stage VC-backed startups or top-tier consultancy.
  • Proficiency in local languages.
