Android Engineer (Kotlin)

Android Engineer (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose): Developing and optimizing the Diner eXPerience (DxP) app, focusing on the Discover team's homepage and authentication flows with an accent on user personalization and secure authentication. Focus on building dynamic intent-based landing pages, improving app performance, and implementing clean architecture in a high-traffic production environment.

Location: Hybrid in Turin, Italy (2 days home office per week)

What you will do

• Improve the Homepage by implementing new contextualization and user personalization features.
• Develop a more secure and frictionless authentication flow for users.
• Create dynamic intent-based landing pages for marketing campaigns.
• Build internal tools to accelerate development velocity across the guild.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and a cross-functional engineering team.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Deep understanding of Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
• Experience shipping and maintaining production Android applications.
• English: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and own a codebase long-term.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL APIs, RxJava, or Dagger2.
• Experience working within remote or distributed teams.
