TL;DR

IT Operations Team Lead (iGaming): Managing and scaling the IT operations team to ensure stability and reliability of business-critical services with an accent on automation, monitoring, and operational excellence. Focus on introducing modern event management, designing automation workflows, and optimizing incident response processes.

Location: Hybrid in Vienna, Austria

Salary: 80,000 EUR gross/year

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop the IT Operations team to foster a high-performing, service-oriented culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement of IT Operations processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Design and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
  • Evolve monitoring and event management capabilities to improve visibility and operational responsiveness.
  • Evaluate and introduce innovative technologies, including AI-powered solutions, for better service delivery.
  • Oversee core activities including patch management, backup/recovery, and incident response.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, or infrastructure-focused roles.
  • Proven first leadership experience coaching and guiding technical teams.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux environments.
  • Solid knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and operational resilience concepts.
  • Good understanding of IT Service Management principles (ITIL).
  • English: Fluent (C1) proficiency required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ServiceNow, Ansible, or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • German language proficiency.
