What you will do

• Own day-to-day management of Morocco-based engineers, including performance reviews and career development.
• Lead local engineering recruitment end-to-end in coordination with Talent Acquisition.
• Drive the transition from remote steering to local autonomy by establishing management infrastructure.
• Design and implement engineering processes that standardize workflows across software and electrical disciplines.
• Assess and address tooling needs for the local team, balancing off-the-shelf and custom solutions.
• Act as the bridge between the engineering team and cross-functional leadership to ensure alignment.

Requirements

• English: C1 proficiency required
• 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2–3 years in an engineering management or team lead role.
• Strong academic record in a technical field such as Engineering or Computer Science.
• Demonstrated capacity to handle large-scale, complex projects and formalize processes in high-growth environments.
• Background in systems, embedded, or hardware-adjacent engineering.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on mentality.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French and Arabic.
• Experience in a distributed, multi-site engineering organization.
