TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js): Designing and evolving systems for the Meta Workspaces product to automate high-volume advertising workflows with an accent on Meta Marketing API integrations and system scalability. Focus on building reliable full-stack capabilities, optimizing backend services for production load, and implementing AI-driven engineering workflows.
Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in Helsinki, Finland)

What you will do
- Design and maintain backend services and full-stack product capabilities for Meta Workspaces.
- Build and maintain integrations with the Meta Marketing API to enable new platform capabilities.
- Develop systems that process high volumes of advertising data with high reliability and performance.
- Own high-impact features from product discovery and API design through to implementation and rollout.
- Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to turn business needs into technical solutions.
- Mentor other engineers to improve testing, monitoring, and overall operational excellence.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Practical experience with relational databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
- Proven experience scaling production services with demanding availability requirements.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid setup, including three days per week in the Helsinki office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL, React, Playwright, Jotai, Kafka, BullMQ, or Kubernetes.
- Curiosity about emerging AI capabilities to improve developer productivity and products.
