What you will do
- Design, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for web applications and backend APIs.
- Perform rigorous manual testing and document bugs, test results, and user experience insights.
- Collaborate with development, design, product, and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Define and monitor quality metrics to improve product reliability and performance.
- Support release readiness and coordinate with teams during production deployments.
- Help establish the QA team and mentor colleagues.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing, API testing, and writing test strategies, plans, scenarios, and cases.
- Experience with Gherkin-style test cases, CI/CD pipeline testing, deployment release cycles, and GitHub.
- Experience with web application QA; mobile QA expertise is not required.
- Familiarity with Figma or Zeppelin and tools such as ClickUp, TestRail, BrowserStack, and Datadog.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, ownership, and collaboration skills; English proficiency is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with automation testing tools, including Playwright.
- JavaScript experience.
- Startup experience, particularly in a Series A or Series B company.
