What you will do

• Design and architect data pipelines to cleanse, normalize, and transform raw data into refined datasets.
• Develop data platforms that enable decision-makers to access pristine, harmonized data.
• Translate business objectives and requirements into technical data specifications.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure excellence in the final output.
• Manage the full lifecycle of data solutions to keep information fresh and impactful.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to derive technical requirements from business needs.

Requirements

• Must be based in Lima, Peru (Hybrid).
• 3+ years of expertise in data mining, data storage, and ETL processes.
• 3+ years of experience developing data pipelines using tools such as Glue, Databricks, Synapse, or Dataproc.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, DB2, and MongoDB.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

Nice to have

• Experience in cloud modernization and data modelling.
• Professional certifications such as Open Certified Technical Specialist in Data Engineering.
• Cloud platform certifications (AWS Certified Data Analytics, GCP Professional Data Engineer, or Azure Data Engineer Associate).
• Familiarity with GitHub and Visual Studio.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
