Backup Specialist/Systems Administrator (Veeam)

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade internal computer hardware and software systems used for product development.
• Manage user access, passwords, and permission assignments across systems.
• Propose and implement system enhancements to improve overall reliability and performance.
• Monitor system usage and performance to ensure stability.
• Administer NAS platforms, including quota management and optimization.
• Operate within a 24x7 schedule, including one week of overnight/on-call shifts per month.

Requirements

• Technical or Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• 2 to 3 years of experience administering backup platforms, preferably Veeam.
• Minimum 1 year of administrative experience with NAS (management, permissions, and quotas).
• Experience in IT infrastructure within multi-platform environments (Windows, Linux, virtualized environments).
• Location: Must be based in Lima, Peru.
