What you will do

• Execute mechanical maintenance activities and capital projects in alignment with asset strategy and maintenance plans.
• Maintain foundry machinery to ensure smooth operation, avoid stoppages, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Plan and execute plant shutdowns, equipment installation, and commissioning projects.
• Lead, coach, and develop the mechanical maintenance team and manage subcontractors.
• Prioritize and monitor improvement projects, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain equipment records.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including LOTOTO procedures and safe work permits.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Chilca, Peru.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in commissioning and installation of heavy-duty equipment.
• Proven experience leading mechanical maintenance teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Experience implementing maintenance programs in heavy industrial environments like foundries or steel plants.
