What you will do

• Act as Site Leader for the Singapore R&D center, overseeing strategic and operational direction.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of 10-12 direct and 20-40 indirect reports.
• Align regional APAC plans with global R&D strategy to ensure market fit and scalability.
• Drive value engineering initiatives and lifecycle cost reduction in collaboration with Operations.
• Partner with marketing and regional teams to adapt global platforms to local APAC requirements.
• Manage strategic relationships with universities, research institutes, and external technology partners.

Requirements

• Degree in science, engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven leadership experience in an R&D environment, ideally within international multi-site organizations.
• Strong experience in strategic planning aligned with business needs.
• Exposure to MedTech R&D or related technical domains.
• Proficiency in English.
• Must be based in Singapore to serve as the Site Leader.

• Specific knowledge of the hearing industry.
• Formal leadership training.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, Tamil, or German.
