What you will do

• Architect and scope AI solutions for ambiguous, high-stakes clinical problems from initial conversation to production specs.
• Build and deploy RAG pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and real-time conversational AI systems in live clinical settings.
• Ensure interoperability with healthcare data standards and platforms, including EHR systems, FHIR, and HL7.
• Own system monitoring, performance tuning, and iterative post-deployment improvements.
• Partner with product, AI research, and clinical safety teams to integrate field insights into the platform.
• Travel to customer sites to serve as the embedded technical presence throughout the deployment lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field from a Tier-1 university.
• 0-2+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of production deployments.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, specifically RAG architectures, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and comfort working across the full stack.
• Experience integrating with APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Menlo Park, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare technology, digital health, or clinical environments.
• Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, and EHR integrations.
• Exposure to voice AI systems or real-time conversational platforms.
• Experience in customer-facing engineering or solutions engineering roles.
• Comfort operating in early-stage, high-ambiguity startup environments.
